About

Overview

This explorer shows data collected as part of a survey about the perceived relationship between consciousness and moral status.

The dataset includes two studies: the main survey (N=1,143) was split into exploratory and preregistered samples (30%–70%) and contains the full set of questions. A separate, preregistered follow-up study (N=350) replicated key findings. In all samples, responses are labeled by recruitment source (Prolific = paid; Free = volunteer).

More information can be found in the manuscript.
